Anthracite

Anthracite is commonly used as sub-fill and as a component of multi-media filters. It is durable and has a wide temperature range. It contains no silica, therefore will not interfere with the production of clean water. Products meet or exceed the NSF/ANSI Standard 61 for Drinking Water System Components. As well as AWWA Standard B100-01.

Garnet

Garnet is ideal in water filtration. It is non-metallic and chemically inert. Garnet is known for it’s hardness and durability. It comes in beneficial sizes for different filtration beds. Products meet or exceed the NSF/ANSI Standard 61 for Drinking Water System Components. As well as AWWA Standard B100-01.

Filter Sand and Gravel

Filter sand and gravel are effective filter medias because of their ability to suspend impure particles. They can be used in the filtration of clean water, the processing of waste water, and the production of water from wells. Grain size and shape ensures proper filtration bedding for removing contaminants in potable water and wastewater. It is also used in deep-water wells as packing material to increase production and prevent infiltration. Products meet or exceed the NSF/ANSI Standard 61 for Drinking Water System Components. As well as AWWA Standard B100-01.
